Burnley are on the verge of securing the services of Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia, reports Sky Sports, via Football Italia
Ranocchia spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull but could not help prevent the Tigers from relegation back down to the Championship.
The 29-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements by new Inter head coach Luciano Spalletti despite the fact Jeison Murillo could follow Gary Medel out the club this summer.
