Ramjet's Predict the Table Thread From The Vaults

OK I know I said that its too early to predict the season, but now the first game is almost upon us I have got off my fence and suggest the following

    Aston Villa
    Middlesbrough

    Fulham
    Wolverhampton Wanderers
    Sheffield Wednesday
    Hull City

    Reading
    Leeds United
    Norwich City
    Sunderland
    Derby County
    Brentford
    Cardiff City
    Preston North End
    Birmingham City
    Sheffield United
    Nottingham Forest
    Bristol City
    Queen's Park Rangers
    Ipswich Town
    Bolton Wanderers

    Barnsley
    Burton Albion
    Millwall

I think this needs saving. It would be worth a review later

Looks about right at this infant stage. Surprised to learn Fulham are favourites amongst bookmakers to win automatic promotion. Villa really needs to bounce back from a disappointing season. They have the players and manager. But the 2 north east clubs will be thereabouts, and I expect 1 of the 2 to win automatic promotion, if not the championship itself.

    I'd go:

    Top 2

    Middlesborough
    Aston Villa

    Playoffs

    Sheff Weds
    Hull
    Norwich
    Derby

    Relegation

    Burton
    Millwall
    Bristol City

As for my team, I read somewhere, we've been placed at 15 by a predictor. Obviously an improvement to last season, but still a failure by any standard. I'd hope for a top half and possibly top ten or top 8. At least be competitive.

Oh I forgot about Sunderland, replace Norwich with them then.

Fulham and Brentford (assuming they keep Jota) look good sides .

Fulham looked useful last term and have strengthened and if Brentford can field Jota Vibe and Judge at any point they will score for fun.

    Wolves will disappoint.

You might get the real thing and not have to quote RR from nearly nine months ago if FM would admit the error of their ways from four weeks ago, Andy.
Mind you, his predictions do go to show how little he, like the rest of us, actually knows...although I guess 4/6 for promotion and 2/3 looking at relegation isn’t that bad. Don’t tell him I said that though...let’s just concentrate on his Millwall, Wednesday, Hull and Sunderland predictions.

    COFM...grown ups admit when they’ve made a mistake...reinstate the FM3.

I was well out with Wolves but not far off with the other two.

I quoted this thread earlier in the week
