He WAS offered a 3 year deal from us, with weeks still left of last season, but held off and held off.

By the time he decided he wanted to sign it (apparently after another 3 weeks of no word, while away on holiday) he was informed it was off the table.

So the only offer on the table was a £600/week 1yr deal from the DABs?

Sure he has a kid in Aberdeen, hence reason his desire to move as close to there as possible
