    I have just watched live video . The german ultras broke through the segregation to attack Burnley fans, about 100 or so dressed in black.. Russian style..

    The person in charge of todays policing has a lot to answer for.. It has been well known that they were bringing a hard core of fans intent on causing trouble. Probably about 100 or so . So if we knew about it ,why did lancashires finest not. (police inteligence ) He or she has put people at risk due to incompetence and should be accountable. How difficult is it to police 100 fans.?

    The priority for a proper police force would be that a lawful event proceeds as scheduled, but we don't have proper policing any more, they just capitulate at the first hint of trouble. I assume the Germans weren't indulging in racist or homophonic chanting, they'd have been sorted out in no time if they had.

    With talk of knives and throwing seats one might have hope they filmed the culprits, or do they not have cameras either?
