    This club , our club

Just got back from holiday yesterday and had a quick look through the Mad site . What the hell is happening to us as fans of Queens with these post after post of negativity . We don't really need enemies when we can destroy ourselves (as we seem to be) Personally speaking , I think the BOD have done a remarkable job of keeping us competive as our gates have nosedived . This is an unenviable job and can't be easy at all. What we really need is a rallying cry to arms from Blount, Hewittson or Paterson. Tell us about the financial situation but also give us a call to arms to get around the club again. We , as a group , ( and heaven knows there ain't that many of us) will respond the such a plea and are far stronger as a united group than a fractious one . We are a smashing little club with a devoted hard core . Come on Queens, let's hear you.

Yes well said JR as the negativity on this site has been somewhat depressing over the last few weeks. Equally the complete absence of communications has only added to the pessimism. We are much stronger together and as one voice rather than a splintered shambles.

The fact is that we are one of the smaller clubs in the division and up against teams with bigger resources and budgets . It will be night impossible to rack up consecutive wins in this division but we can compete competitively. As we have done before , rally around the club and meet this challenge head on. Going in with a half hearted approach to backing the team is a nonsensical way to take on the bigger clubs. Younger fans are not going to be attracted to come and watch us either with such gloom . So , individually and collectively , give the team your utmost and you will get more back. Heaven knows we might even get more through the gate and start building the next generation of fans.

That's a great post JRS , lots of doom and gloom including myself at times but it's time the club spoke to the paying fans . We need to know and we need to be as one again

    Fully agree JRS

What was really disappointing yesterday was there was a very poor build up from the club for our opening league game of the season and no rallying call from the Chairman .
And he wonders why crowds are so low

Well said JR and I agree with what you say. 4-1 against Brechin was a good result yesterday, especially without the Dobmeister. We do need some quality additions though and the BOD have have taken a backward step recently in terms of communications with the fans but I remain hooked and hopeful of a decent league campaign and hopefully some extra drama in the two remaining cups. We're top of the league!

It would be good to hear something from Queens . Plenty stories doing the rounds so it's up to them to either confirm or deny them . Communications between club and supporters has never been that great .
Have to agree that some sort of rallying call from the Chairman would of been ideal before the season started . It's also ***** all the fans and supporters groups get back together and be as one . Some need to get shot of their "them and us" attitude IMO .....
