Sorry Piglet but, speaking as someone with perfect pitch, Didymus was never going to cut the mustard. The correct answers was the holy trinity: A, D and E.

Oh glory, weren't we rubbish this week? All but Gaz anyway, and possibly Gards; they get all the plaudits so well done. This week the average score was 3.8 (read it and weep) with AussieBranch's contribution of nowt keeping the figure down. A smattering of 1s, 2s and 3s will make this a desperate Christmas for most, putting Aunty Maud's present of 15 pairs of pink socks way down the pecking order of Yuletide disasters. Oh, woe is us.

Well done Gaz, you're up to 7th from 9th. Piglet and Pete are fast catching up to Howoldboy in the scrap for second place and there's been a bit of swapping about at the bottom. Apart from that it's as you were.

Check everything as usual and have a great Christmas. Back to normal next week - I'll try and get the list up on or by Wednesday.

Piglet, wrong wavelength, the correct answers was Radio 2 on 88.2.

What happened to the entries this week? Deezel failed to show, Chalky changed his mind after ballsing up his entry - which gained him a point - and AussieBranch eventually crawled out from under a sombrero long enough to put in an entry which was a better effort (just) than the one put in for him by NZBlue. I think I've managed to keep up, just.

Piglet was obviously too busy with his mathematical formulae this week to concentrate and only managed 2, as did Alf - probably through shock at Burnley's continuing good form in that other league that we don't talk about. On the other hand Santa must have brought Gards a magic lamp, and one of the resident genie's three wishes made him this week's top scored with 10. I wonder what he'll use the other two for? Maybe we'll see Preston in Europe in a year or two. Well done anyway.

Pete's 8 has lifted him to second and two good weeks for Gards has put him in 4th. Meanwhile, Chalky and Deezel now share bottom spot thanks to Southblue's magnificent 9 raising him to 13th.

All go, isn't it.

Heh. Just back from the pub where I saw New Year in with a trio of Canadian in-laws. And a happy New Year Piglet when it comes around. Me, I'm off to bed. Keep trying for that bonus though. 2018 and I'm still here; who'd have thought it?
