    Predictocomp Table 2017-18

    WEEK 1

    Remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. Off to a great start though, it's extremely unusual that half the competitors get double-figures. There were 16 correct scores, which helped, but I'm extremely disappointed that none of us got the Luton score right. Well done to Howoldboy and champion Pete for top-scoring, but also to Alf who was the best of the newbies. These Burnley lot obviously know summat. I won't say much about the bottom, it's too soon, but I'm sure that those down there will be sad to see that The Beast hasn't joined us yet to take up his traditional position. Heh.

    I'll get Week 2 up tomorrow because I'm going away for a few days. Don't forget that new competitors start as EOBs on (this week) 4 points so bring your mates and tell them there's always time to catch up.

    1= Howoldboy.............14
    1= Pete......................14
    3. Alfinyalcabo............13
    4. NZBlue..................12
    5. Piglet.....................11
    6= CUFCAussieBranch...10
    6= Chalky....................10
    6= Griff.......................10
    9. Gards_PNE. .............8
    10= Deezel.....................6
    10= Southblue................6
    12= Cayambe.................5
    12= Crushalime..............5
    14= Lufbrablue...............4
    14= Mullen....................4
    ......................................

    EOB..............................4
    (EOB is the running total of the weekly lowest scores)

    Please check scores etc. Errors can creep in and I'm only human.

    Well, let's see how that went Chalky....

    WEEK 2

    Not that well, Chalky. Not bad though

    Only one in double figures this week, which is a bit more like it, so well done LufbraBlue. Newbies will find that consistency is the key, and when form settles down it will be a bit easier to achieve. There's no need to panic yet (perhaps Mullen excluded). Only kidding.

    Check scores and maths as usual please.

    We're still all trading places and nowt has settled down. Howoldboy top-scored with 9 and hits the top; 4 was the lowest and four of us managed it. Mullen has now scrambled to 2 points clear of EOB at the bottom which says something, but I'm not sure what. Fact is, one brilliant or poor week and bottom could be top or vice versa.

    For the benefit of newbies, the AML is the antipodean mini-league, a competition steeped in history* and it's pretty much dog eat dog in there, no holds barred etc etc. Bragging right around the globe are at stake here so it pretty serious stuff. Here goes then and stand well back.....

    AML (week 3)
    NZBlue..................24
    CUFCAussieBranch..19

    Week 3

    1 Howoldboy..............(9) 28
    2 Alfinyalcabo............(8) 26
    3 NZBlue...................(5) 24
    4= Griff.....................(4) 23
    4= Pete.....................(7) 23
    6 Piglet.....................(8) 22
    7 CUFCAussieBranch...(6) 19
    8= Chalky..................(4) 18
    8= Lufbrablue............(4) 18
    10= Cayambe............(6) 17
    10= GardsPNE...........(5) 17
    12 Deezel.................(6) 16
    15 Southblue............(7) 15
    14= Crushalime.........(4) 14
    14= Gaz...................(6) 14
    16 Mullen..................(6) 12
    ......................................

    EOB.........................(4) 10
