    Aye 2-0 at half time.

We've looked decent to my eye. Although Verona are clearly behind us in terms of fitness etc. I assume there pre-season started later than ours.

Mitro if he's going to be starting against Spuds (assuming the Gayle thing is an issue) needs to make runs and learn when to make them rather than thinking he can bulldoze through.

Manquillo is looking decent as well again. Certainly confident in attacking forward.

Atsu and Manquillo pick of players in first half.

Although that has to be tempered with Verona are looking quite poor.

half decent game, almost 24,000 there.

second half spoilt a bit by 9 subs.

Jacob Murphy looked very poor though. looks like he was trying way too hard to impress.

He probably was, it was his home debut and he's a fan (as far as we're aware) so probs really trying etc.

Could also be that he wasn't coming into a settled team? Like you said 9 changes spoils things like flow of a team etc.

I think he'll be good for us and become a solid first team player.

We looked alright in the first half. Bit disjointed second. They were clearly a couple of weeks behind us fitness wise.
