He was in my taxi the night before the derby (got him to say 'we on the league at dens, fly the flag) and asked him how he came about supporting them. He said he doesn't support any football team, he likes the gym, karate and surfing.
Said he goes where he is paid.
He isn't interested in football or them.
The boy that organised it, Paul, was whatsapp video calling him while we were on our way back from Dunfermline - the whole thing was to wind united up. Said the reaction by United fans was 'exactly what he was after'. Nothing to do with publicity for Dundee like some folk are trying to claim.
He was on the phone sorting this while on a stagger aswell.
Sad act.
