Finished 3.1 to the millers. Smith, forde (2)
Vassell hit the net for it to be ruled out for offside. Kayode hit the post and forde denied the hatrick hitting the bar

yep a good work out. Notes:
Best players on day: Smith, Ajayi, Newell in first half. Forde, Mattock at CB, Hinds, McGinley in second hakf. Vassell is a big burger but looked a bit overweight to me. Robertson also a bit slow,No doubt Warney will sort that by punishing them on those hills in Austria.

Did McGinley play in the centre - thought he was a wide man?

McGinley was usually winger/wide midfielder in reserves games last season. Interesting to see if the absentees previously mentioned , plus Onariase and Bray, make a start in the other friendlies. Also David Ball missing today? Were any subs announced or used?

Could that be because of the toe injury at Wembley? Not heard any news on that.
