Derby 0 Wolves 2

Wolves head on down to Pride Park for the first match away from home this season. Derby County hired a quality manager in Gary Rowett late last season. I thought it was a very good move for them. Their offseason hasn't been as noisy as I thought it'd be. They sent Tom Ince off to Huddersfield. Forward Abdoul Camara never worked out for them so they sent him away as well. Will Hughes left for Watford after six seasons with Derby. For transfers in, they went with experience over potential. Veterans Curtis Davies and Tom Huddlestone were brought in from Hull and Andre Wisdom was bought from Liverpool after failing to impress at any of his loan spells. All these players were brought in to help shore up their defending. I am a little surprised that they didn't bring in any attackers so far. But there's still time in the transfer window. They went to Sunderland for their first match this season. I was able to watch the match and have to say I wasn't impressed with either team. But it was the first match of the season. Their attack consists of Darren Bent, Matej Vydra and David Nugent. Not the best, but definitely not among the worst set of forwards in the league.
Until Wolves show us a different scoreline, I'll go with the same we've had so far. In our last three matches at Pride Park, we've allowed 12 goals to them. But it's a new era!

Hopes running high already for this new season.
Reality check , Wolves were gifted a goal against Middlesborough
and could not add to that.
1-0 against lowly Yeovil who had conceded 8 in their previous match.
Like all recent Wolves sides , this present team will not score a lot of goals.
