Aye, I recall a bit in the paper when Stav was here.
I always remember thinking that Stav was made to play in a front two.

He'd make a near post run, the ball's played in the back.....vice-versa.
But Ebbe liked the lone striker thing.

Plus ca change plus c'est la meme chose.

So looks like Ebbe had something in common with our current coach then

Ebbe reckoned Dazzler would be Aberdeens answer to Michael Owen.
    He was spot on.
    Very similar in height.

I would pick Stavrum over any of our current strikers.

I preferred Ebbe to Del. Ebbe was a character, Del is not.

Haha come on, we were utterly hopeless under Ebbe! He was good fun, but we were dismal. Del might not be all that exciting, but I'd rather have him every day of the week. It would be good to maybe tap into some foreign markets again though as we did back in the Ebbe era.

Craig Brown compared Cammy Smith to Denis Bergkamp & the young lad Jamie Masson to Jim Bett.

I did like Skovdhal when he was in charge but looking back now he was a terrible manager for us.

He said that getting beat 2-0 at Parkhead was a good result.

We got destroyed at home 1-6 by Livingston when they were in the league below us.

We got knocked out of Europe by a part time Irish team.

The last 2 in particular would be deemed as a sackable offence if McInnes was in charge, this place would be in meltdown calling for his head on a spike.

Missing sacking opportunities is the one thing Milne truly excels at
