Police have "defendant's" statement and witnesses, either they or the PF shall likely decide now what's next with this and counter complaint.

ST is the one who put his version out in public and hopefully the truth will receive the same level of media attention once court case or removal of complaint.

We can all stop debating then and just judge the actions of the individual proved to be in wrong.

The procurator fiscal will likely drop the whole thing.

It’s in best interests of all sides that this embarrassment is dropped.

I mind years ago, a lad was assaulted in Dundee, the case went to court where the Sheriff was commenting on what happened, the Sheriff stated "I read here that the victim was hit by a razor", "what kind of a razor was used in this cowardly attack", the PF replied "a rubber eraser sir" much to the amusement of all present. Turned out the lad had been hit with one of those jumbo rubbers, nearly knocked the boy out though, so probably not funny during the event! a wee bit like being a middle aged man, attending a fitba match with his wife and child, and being confronted by a baying mob of pissed up **** stains. Amusing to some when they hear about it, but probably not to those on the receiving end.
