    Barnsley Away

If we win the replay tie against Grimsby in The Carabao Cup on August 22nd after the first game got abandoned due to heavy rain, we will get to play Barnsley at Oakwell in the next round.

We lost at Grimsby recently in a pre-season friendly, so we owe them one or two.

Don't encourage him, he's too excitable as it is, he's already knocked one out over Leicester and 4rsenal tonight

    Knocked one out indeed...
None of us really rate the 'old' League cup anymore do we, and we only scraped past Morecambe the other night in the pouring rain. We won it 4-3 with a goal after 95 minutes!!

Must of brought back memories seeing the same scoreline as Morecambe Acido, you just barely scraped through but you just never know when another one comes knocking at your door and get you right back in the action once again.

A win is a win of course when it comes to the cup, and this became clear to us when we went all the way and won the JPT in 2016.
Apart from the Anglo-Italian thing in 1992-93, have we & Derby ever met in the cups ?

First season we played against you on the 30th Jan 1897 we beat you 8-1 in the FA Cup at home. On the 19th October 1960 we beat you 3-0 at home in the League Cup.

I mean in the present days, or rather since we switched from b&w to colour and from shillings to pennies ?.
