Well technically i count as Pboro's "soufeners" but he can **** off.

The times i've been up north and the times i've met Toon fans at away games shows me what Geordies have done for us.

Mick summed it up the best and well said.

Southern i may be but Northern (Newcastle on my grandads side) runs through my veins.

Coal sold in London as Wallsend Best from the High Main seam.It was so good that it was advertised in a repro News of the World in. the 1850s after all the Wallsend pits were flooded and didn't re-open for 40 years. The London coal merchants charged top prices for Wallsend Best and kept it going for years after that seam had been worked out.
