A late penalty in the 9th minute of additional time but what a start! I'd have chopped my arm off for 9 out of 9 after our first three games, all against fancied sides.

Would have never guessed 9 points (6 on the road) against 3 teams projected to finish top 8. Amazing

    Taken from Hull 606 board

. There wasn't a gap between the two teams tonight, there was Gulf. Accuracy of passing, chest control of the ball, lots of time and above all else skill.

Yes they are talking about WWFC

Another victory, but i have to admit, Hull caused Wolves quite a few problems, especially when we were 2-1 up. I thought Wolves couldn't reach the heights or level of the standard set in the Middlesbrough and Derby games, but again, the first half was a joy to watch. Wolves moved the ball about so well, recycled it and got going again.

Just like at Derby, both Doherty and Douglas had some much space on their sides of the pitch it was untrue. Each and every player that played last night complimented each other, Saiss, playing with technically better players links up so well with Neves. What a way for Neves to open his Wolves account with his stunning goal, a class above.

Hull barely had a sniff in the half, but i could see where Wolves may come unstuck in game, corners are where we looked most vulnerable, the first corner just before the Hull goal caused no end of problems, Wolves were lucky not to concede, Douglas did well to clear. The second corner though again caused Wolves problems, Ruddy not helped with Campbell right in front of him and Wolves not able to clear, Dawson celebrated his goal like there was no tomorrow, can't blame him really after his side barely had a sniff on goal before that.

Hull were no match for Wolves in the first half, and to go in 2-1 up was no more than we deserved. Bright Enobakhare may only be a youngster, but for me he plays a big part in the way Wolves want to play, maybe at times he tries to overdo it when on the ball, but there was nothing wrong in the way he beat the defender and then crossed for Jota to make it 2-1.

I expected Hull to come out after the break and go for it, and then did, Wolves actually got deeper and deeper, Ruddy making decent saves and Hull also hitting the bar and post. Bonatini having a decent chance to increase the Wolves lead. Despite not scoring, he played his part. A third goal in this one was good to see, it helped ease the doubt that Hull would get back into the game. A great ball from Cavaleiro to put Dicko in on goal, he took his goal well, he could also have got at least another in his short spell on the pitch. It also gave Wolves some breathing space.

Any side that keeps Abel Hernandez quiet this season, like Wolves did, will have done well. It's just a shame that Wolves had to let in another goal, in stoppage time. The ref couldn't wait to award it, a minimal push. Another excellent win on the road, long may it continue.

My sentiments exactly and I've seen it couple of times now. I think the ref thought "well there's only 30 seconds left" and felt sorry for them.

I thought it was a soft penalty award at the time and still do now.
