    Everton FC's twitter page has it as their U23 team playing, everyone else seems to have U21.

    I think someone should go through and check the age of their players to make sure they're not cheating.

    PS and if Smudge can play I think Rooney should be allowed to as well.

    FlashScores lists all the junior teams in tonight's competition as U23.

    1,409 in attendance, 88 from Everton. Wonder how the real figures work out at the early stages.

    A really good game, could have gone either way, in the last few minutes they hit the bar, keeper saved the follow up and the 2nd effort cleared off the line. They brought on a lad called Donkor, a big powerful forward with pace. Caused our defence a few problems and scored their goal. By the way all their drinks containers and training folder had under 23's on them
