Interesting happenings regarding the payment of transfer fees. These had virtually disappeared from our league.

Yet this season we have:

Stevie May, reported £300k Preston to Aberdeen
GMS, reported £125k Smelly to Aberdeen
Arnason, reported £90k to buy out contract

OK we took in £1,300k from Smelly for Hayes but in the past this would have met running costs. Also:

Where are Ross County getting £125k for Draper from?

And where are Partick getting £40k for Storey from?

Are finances improving in Scottish football?

Ross County got £400k for Boyce.

Partick have that lottery couple helping them out and from some other financial backers. They also got £400k for Lindsay.
