The old gits amongst us will remember the good old days when league tables were not even published until about 5 games into the season.
Looking at the current table, MK Dons could finish the season with 0 points and still avoid relegation
We are 8th after playing two games (goal difference 3) 3 points
Oxford are top (goal difference 5) 6 points
Moore our top scorer with 3 and 1 assist
Moore is also top scorer for L1 with Powell (Wigan) & Marriott (Posh) also on 3
Good start after that shocking display at Fleetwood

Don't know why I would make it up but I could of course be wrong. Maybe another old git remembers the days when the league tables didn't appear in the Sunday papers until about the 3rd or 4th Sunday of the season. Until then we had to make do with the home made league 'ladders' the football comics used to give away.
League tables were not published in the Sunday papers until 3 games in. It is generally acknowledged that the reason for the change was that the gay lover of a leading newspaper proprietor was mortified that his team, top after 2 games, never again reached the pinnacle and was eventually relegated. The poor guy spent the rest of his life showing people a hand-written league table, a stethoscope and some obviously false betting slips. Sad indeed.
this old timer does CAM
We are on target for 46 points.
