    Notts Match Day Bet Competition – Game 3 Wycombe

    Here’s a quick recap for all those who have been asleep or on holiday.

    At the beginning of the season we started the Notts Match Day Bet Competition

    The object of the competition is to see who can win the most money by placing an imaginary £5 worth of bets on each Notts league game this season. (Or as things are going maybe that ought to read “lose the least money”).

    We make the rules up as we go along and so far have two:

    Rule 1: If a participant fails to register their bet on the Forum before kick-off, they are deemed to have had a losing bet for that game.

    Rule 2: For simplicity, Bet365 odds will be used for all bets. (Other bookmakers are available but in this competition they ain’t)

    Current Standings After 2 Games
    1= .. 60YearsAPie ….... -£1.00
    1= .. countygump ….... -£1.00
    3 ….. tarquinbeech …... -£6.10
    4= .. everybody else .. -£10.00

    It’s still not too late to join in. Anyone who does will start in 4th place, on -£10.

    My bets this week are:
    £2 Akinfenwa to score at anytime @ 7/4
    £2 Over 2.5 goals @ 21/20
    £1 Notts winning at H/T and Wycombe winning at F/T @ 25/1

    Rule 3 - Anyone caught cheating or breaking the rules, will be bent over my sofa and their chubby, soft buttocks beaten with a freshly-cut cactus paddle!!

    Decimal BET 365 odds:
    £2 - Notts HT/FT 6.00
    £1.50 - Notts to win both halves 15
    £1.50 Over 3.5 goals 3.75

    Good idea, cheers.

    5.00 on a Wycombe win.

    Hope to lose that fiver but I'm spooked by the Coventry game. I don't think we'll let in 3, our biggest problem is up front, I reckon.

    How many people are in the competition? Would be interesting to see how much the bookies have made already
