West Ham have told Robert Snodgrass he is free to leave the club either on a permanent basis or on loan. Very good attacking creative midfielder and has loads of experience just what we are lacking in midfield and would be a valuable asset no doubt and I would add him to the squad in a heartbeat.

On the transfermarkt website he is valued at £7.20m so same price as Lawrence really and get's around £40,000 per week wage.

Except transfermarkt values Tom Lawrence at 2.25 million, not the 7 million or so we paid for him, so that suggests Snodgrass would cost upwards of 20 million to support their 7.2 million valuation.....
Looks like we payed £4.75m more on the Lawrence deal if you go by the base value of the transfermarkt and seeing as Leicester were unwilling to sell him and he was Ipswich Town's player of the season just gone by then his base valuation would of gone up and we payed just about the right kind of money for him at £7m.
Sunderland interested in Snodgrass and manager Simon Grayson says "when people like him come available you would be foolish not to consider it" I would agree with him he's a very good quality experienced player in the EFL.

One footed one trick pony for me ... even found out!
Ince was one footed but managed to score 15 goals last season for us. Still one of the top attacking midfielders in the EFL in recent seasons at Hull, would be a magician in the heart of our midfield the dynamite for the team if you like would put in him the team straight away.
Majority of wingers tend to be one footed one trick ponies and also inconsistent. It's the one position on the pitch that most sides lack real quality.
In the past 20yrs how many real top notch wingers have there been?
Figo, Giggs and Ronaldo spring to mind with Bale and Robben possibly in same breath.
For the rest it's generally a case of one decent game in every three, Russell and Weimann being two of them. The divisions have been filled with wingers who are very good on their day but don't have anywhere near of enough of them - Kilbane, McGeady, Snodgrass, Downing, Adam Johnson, Chris Eagles etc etc
I'm on the fence with this one, would rather see a young speedy player in the mould of Jordan Ibe I think.
