    Prediction League - Cardiff City

Wolves host the team at the top of the table in Cardiff City this weekend. While Wolves were considered to be a promotion contender after a busy summer, Cardiff have kind of popped in out of nowhere. As with Wolves, they've achieved 9 points from 9 to start the season. They are above us on goal difference. They've yet to allow a goal all season in league play. And the only goal they conceded was in the EFL Cup and it was an own goal. So no opposing player has scored against them. I will say that their road to three opening victories has been easier than ours. They've traveled to Burton and hosted Villa and Sheffield United. Those clubs have four points combined. Whereas Wolves' three opponents so far all have at least 4 points themselves, despite being denied any points from Wolves. We've beaten the top clubs and they've beaten the bottom feeders. Still early in the season of course. Old Wolf Nathaniel Mendez Laing has been their best player so far, scoring four goals total, three in league play. They signed experienced attacker Lee Tomlin this offseason. As well as Omar Bogle, who scored quite a few goals in League Two last season. I expect a somewhat cynical approach from Neil Warnock's squad. A tough, physical test with some tackles that will leave us calling for cards for the Welsh club. But Wolves are on a roll and another victory in front of the home crowd is due.

    And who is your goalscorer?

Don't ruin it now, not when you are doing so well.

I notice that the two Baggies interlopers have not proposed a Wolves first scorer. Perhaps excusable for the one who predicted that we would not score. I do wonder if it is this because they don't know who plays for us? I certainly don't even care about who plays for the Albion!

I see you beat me to it Newcy!
