Ipswich fan here - Moore and Emmanuel thoughts

Hello all - logged in an account as interested in how Kieffer Moore and Josh Emmanuel are doing on their loans in League One.

Saw them live a few times last season and, on reflection, it appeared that Championship football was maybe a little ahead of them as they were a little rough around the edges and needed games.

On that basis, I totally appreciated the loan out and Mick McCarthy definitely wants to see how they get on this season before deciding on what he will do in the future.

Emmanuel is much nearer the first team than Moore I would say - we have a huge defensive injury crisis at the moment but yesterday in the press conference Mick ruled out Josh returning as he wants to give him a regular run of games and for him to enjoy his football.

Same for Moore who is probably 5th choice striker at the moment so needs a run of games as well.

Hopefully they both do well for themselves and for you and come back better for the experience.

As for Adeyemi, has been unwell and then picked up a calf injury. Disappointing for him as hasn't yet had a chance to show us what type of player he is.

Moore is the perfect fit for league one. And himself and proctor look as though they have been playing together for many a season.

Emmanuel will be a decent championship player. His roll with us will be very attacking. I'm not sure he will learn the defensive side he needs with us..
From the 4 games the squad have played, so far we have been the better team in them all..
warne has used 21 different players. The depth is deep so if any of the 2 faulted then they would be benched

    Regards adeyemi.
He doesn't have flair or pace. He can't even tackle very good but he knows how to work hard, find space and chip in with a few goals
If you compare him to luke hyam then there totally opposite end of the spectrum....

Emmanuel and Moore playing well so far. As for Adeyemi - he did well for us in the Championship, but not really an "athlete" - injury prone, struggling to last for the full 90 minutes. Good player though, with the knack of scoring goals.

Emmanuel I think different. He's better defending than attaching. You can have him back now. We've got Vaulks & Cummings. Moore would like to sign him perm'. Don't think he's a striker for a progressive championship club which RUFC isn't. Adeyemi good player in a bad side last season. Fitness is his problem. Luke Hyam what's situation with him. His he fit, If he his wouldn't mind him back.

Like Emmanuel's positional sense. Yes still a bit rough round the edges but he will do us a good job this year. Moore has a good touch for a big lad but is strangely not so strong in the air but ia great battering ram for Div 1. Please don't take them back in Jan or we will be back to square one. Ideally I would like youto flog us both but realise we have a better chance of this with Moore than Emmanuel. Have you got a good central midfielder or centre back we can have please?

Moore is perfect for lg 1 .Like a better James Hanson that Bradford had. He wins everything in the air, has pace for a big man and has the ability to get 20+ goals this season. Is he ready for the championship not too sure only playing him will tell you that. Josh however has time to learn. Position wise hes nowhere near good enough but get himself out of trouble with his strength and pace. He would get found out in the championship but has age on his side with good coaching he may make it. Its important for us we keep both of them for the season. So you guys keep wining especially when you play the blunts and fowls .Best of luck.
