    Behaviour whilst in enemy territory

Advice please fellahs, which I'll probably ignore but hey ho

If you were invited to watch The Rams away, but amongst home 'fans', would you a) accept at all and b) cheer when we inevitably scored?

And would your answer be different if c) you were in with their hoodlum tendancy, d) with the moms'n'pops'n'kids or e) in the directors box amongst friends and family of their players (so not really fans at all, just freeloaders)?

I've been offered e) in the near future and don't believe I can avoid b). I've explained to the person who invited me, its an involuntary action. someone slices your balls off, you scream. Derby score, you cheer.

    Anyone?

I'd accept and sit on my hands. Saw the Toyota turn on an elderly Wolves fan who'd just gone with his equally elderly Derby supporting mate. His 'crime' was to show a hint of emotion when Wolves scored...dreadful...first time I'd realised most in there were alive.

Same almost happened to me when I and two others were 'treated' to corporate hospitality at Forest. Because they occupy such a hovel, guests have to sit with Forest fans in that 6,000 seat lean-to, fortunately one of my friends didn't just cheer he went ape**** when Ryan Shotton scored that half-yard wondergoal, so it was he not me that felt the heat of the unenlightened ones around us.

You should accept it and just watch the game. I think we've all been in our own seat when some idiot next to you starts yorping for the opposition. Doesnt matter how old or young you are it says home fans only. If you cant respect that you shouldn't be there!

Yes as a kid ive been in the other end and thought it was clever to cheer but quickly realised just watch the game and shut up .... especially at Filbert Seat when we ended up in the middle of the baby squad!!!

Andy I've got exactly the same scenario on my hands. Me and my best mate, also a ram have been invited to Millwall in an exec box in January. Whilst I obviously know my host as well as his Millwall pals it's the others in the vicinity I would not wish to 'offend'.

Before the fixtures were announced we had originally planned to host him at Derby but that's dropped Dec 23 so not easy getting off Craggy Island for that one.

I hope we do 3 up early doors so the majority of home fans leave early!!

Millwall away ..... be daft to do anything there more than anywhere nearly. If someone pipes up they know what will happen before it does. So if someone doesn't keep quiet in that circumstance its tantamount to looking for trouble....

You can add Cardiff and Leeds to the list. Maybe Sheff Utd. But I must admit we had a hooligan problem in years past at Forest and some still don't cover themselves in glory

Never had trouble at Millwall, had it at the Baseball ground with them though. Bristol City and Leeds my worst two away matches, Didn't realise how good I was at long distance running. Thought I was going to have my head ripped off!
