Lambert currently without a club now at the age of 35 been out of the scene for a bit but his best moments was with Southampton who helped them towards promotion to the Premier League, had that good spell which helped him raise his rep which caught the eye of Liverpool which got him in the England squad for a limited time but came too late in his career and after that went downhill and never to be heard of again.

Be wary of buying Southampton players. Good at their club but duds elsewhere excepting Messrs Bale and Walcott. Even the latter hasn't truly fulfilled his potential.
