This brings back great memories for me/us playing Newport at home, back in the days of Clarkie & Hunter. (but I won't go into all that lol). Btw we're sat waiting tonight for the winner of the Grimsby v Derby match, which was abandoned a fortnight ago!.

Do you all think these matches are about the result, or does the performance count as well seeing as its only the Lg cup ?.

Shaughnessy CBJ Vieira gomes and Stokes, almost half the 11 relatively inexperienced, no excuse but bar ayling, green Anita klich dallas and roofe ain't done enough first half, bloody rubbish!

    Result first, performance second

Same as any club playing a team in a lower league , you do expect your team to win, with a comfortable performance. Though when you send out your reserve team, anything can happen and normally does !
