Partick Thistle are advertising for one with a wage of £25,000 - can't see that ever happening at Palmy though !

They must see it as a full time job . It'll be interesting to see who takes over from Christine and if that person is given the help they will need from fellow supporters

yep trouble is queens see the position of an s.l.o as a representative for the board to speak to the fans ,when infact it should really be the other way around thair there to represent the fans ,when the fans want answers and want to know things going on with the club and board ,there sole purpose is to fight the fans corner in any argument with the board or club ,and put fans views forward to the club .so an s.l.o should defo not be appointed by the board its the fans that should name the person to reprsent them and the club to pay them there wage as that rep .

the s.l.o at celtic backed the green brigade against the board at celtic acting on there behalf ,and as yous all seen the green brigade went on strike ,as a result of the s.l.o and the strike the board have pardoned the 150 green brigade fans that were banned for trouble ,flares and silly banners lol ,so s.l.o done his job and stuck up for them and restored peace ,now can you see a queens slo going hammer and tongs with our board to represent lets say the young lads if thay decide to ever come back when some trouble kicks off like a flare or banner and a bunch get banned from palmy ,canny see it lol .

The club won't be appointing the new SLO and its most definitely a voluntary position

I would have thought this would be an ideal opportunity for someone from the Queens Trust and the Doonhamers Travel Club to come to the table.

I would reckon that this would be a good idea for both organisations to get more involved with the club.

You'll need plenty free time if you are to become the new SLO . It's ***** Queens pick the correct person and somebody who won't get walked all over especially from the Chairman

Fantastic news and many thanks to the team of guys that have taken on this role. Four sets of shoulders are much broader than the one and should be better able to cope with the inevitable strains involved in the post. Well done to all who volunteered.🙌
