Seems like the bidding has started.

    From Andy Devlin

@MotherwellFC defender Ben Heneghan subject of bid from @Rovers. Fir Park club poised to rejected initial offer.

Sunderland,Norwich and Birmingham are all supposed to be interested in Heneghan. At least we won't have to sell him for a pathetic fee.Hope club can insert sell on clause into any deal.

Blackburn Rovers are the first club to make a bid for Heneghan which club sources suggest it was flatly rejected.

If we lose all of the three 'big' players other clubs have their beady eyes on it'll be back to the 'it's going to be a long season' zone. I think I may try prayer again. I did, once, in conjunction with an appeal to the Almighty, light a candle in Notre Dame in Paris, followed up some time later with a prayer from the pews in Lausanne Cathedral (it's a Proddy establishment; just covering all the bases). Perhaps it wasn't the kind of intercession that gets a response, but so far my submissions remain unanswered; we still haven't won the Champions' League.
But if our backs are to the wall, I can see me giving Him another chance to help the 'Well.

So ... you didn't call on Allah, Buddah or the Mormon King for assistance as well? Not exactly covering all the bases mate? :-)
Anyhow, in essence, I agree with your point - should we lose all 3 of our likely lads in this window it's gonna be a long and potentially difficult season.

We've resisted quite an onslaught from Blackburn. Can we resist until the window shuts?

More like a constant barrage from a pea shooter; not difficult to ignore. Blackburn know our figure...they match it or there's no deal.

According to Sky sports we have now sold Heneghan to Blackburn Rovers fee as yet unknown
