    Early thoughts on best line up this season

    All still early days, this time yesterday I didn't think we would sign Gibbs. But just wondering how we could line up this season. I personally think Jonny Evans will go and with that £30m we need to sign a quality centre half.

    I also hope we keep Chadli, he has real quality and though he tailed off at the end of last season I still think he would get into our first XI if he was in form. There's a reason why Swansea and Leicester are after him.

    So, all being well. We could end up lining up like this;

    Foster
    Nyom, Dawson, Sakho, Gibbs
    Barry, Krychowiak
    Burke, Chadli, Phillips,
    Rodriguez

    Could swap Brunt or Mcclean for Chadli. And Sakho for Mangala or any other defender who comes in. Hegazi as a solid back up centre half. Rondon and Robson Kanu as back up strikers.

    I think that's a fairly solid and, dare I say, exciting squad...

    Maybe Dawson or Nyom at RB with Hegazi (or GMac) and Evans in the centre. And maybe Brunt or Chadli. Spoilt for riches.
