To be honest, no idea how this happened. Maybe 3 years ago Hamburg were desperate to get him, he was a regular there until this season and now say they want to get rid of him definetly. On paper he is a quality signing, way above Championship level, he should be a hell lot better than Wood. Very happy about the players we have brought in overall, we are not settling for Championship mid table players anymore, far from it.

Really interested to see how he gets on, remember 2 years or so ago when he was in the German national team. Hopefully he can rekindle that form.
