A nice cup of tea is surely a must have when attempting a peppermint slice as they can get a bit sweet and sickly.

We really are spoilt we come from such a beautiful country with infinite history

Today me and wee me went up Aberlour/Dufftown way.

Speyside Cooperage was good and every member of staff we spoke to were affa affa nice. Decent wee tour as well. The whisky ice cream I had was a delight

From there it was to seek out Linn Falls. Nature can really make some beautiful sights and that is one. (There is a waterfall in that pic, trust me)

Then on to Balvennie Castle. Awesome day for it

    I love Scotland

Now to fire up the barby

Took Pac Jnr to the Falconry Centre oot the back of Huntly today. Cracking day out. Really interesting to hear about the birds and see the Falconers love for his job. I also got the glove on and was playing about with a Bengal Eagle Owl. Seeing the Falcon during the demonstration was incredible. It decided it was going to attack a crow. The speed it went at was unreal. It was ace day

A special mention the bird in the photo. One of the most beautiful and majestic animals I have ever seen. That is Zelda, shes a Steller Sea Eagle. The biggest eagle species there is. A wingspan of ten foot. Its a shame there is nothing in the pic as a comparator to show how immense she is. An incredible beast
