Hope we never see him in a Derby shirt again
See Butterfield is quoted as suggesting that Wednesday 'passed Derby County off the park' whenever he played against them. Maybe the fact that he was playing for us is not unrelated...and maybe he'd do well to remember it's only a loan and he may have to return. He seems to have done better in Yorkshire...hope this move does not prove the exception.
Hope we never see him in a Derby shirt again
Butterfield started off well when he first came here since he moved from Huddersfield but since he had that wedding palaver he was never the same player again just passing the ball sideways and not getting enough forward and going backwards, lost interest in playing for Derby it seems and looks to be a great move for Butterfield to go back to Yorkshire to play with Sheff Wed where he feels more at home and played his best football.
Let's hope he raises his profile at Sheff Wed and then we can move him on and bring in a proper replacement for him when the time comes.
See Butterield was at it again Thursday / yesterday. His first comment above was extremely ironic that when he played we got passed of the park. Now I think he's being a lot more disrespectful. Our direct physical style of play doesn't suit his style of football. Jacob, you like to be anything other than direct don't you? You like to go sideways or backward and pass to the central defenders. Good riddance. Also suggesting that is was him that requested the move and he had a lot of choices and he chose Sheff Wed. Rowett couldn't have been clearer that Sheff Wed came in for Bryson first.
I hope he watched the game last night. The passing for the second goal shows what physical direct play gets you. If he'd been on the pitch, at the time the net was bulging we'd have been watching Carson with the ball.
We played better when he wasn't in the team we played more direct attacking football, few occasions we went back but not as much when we had Butterfield in the side which goes to show who the major culprit was and on the contrary thank god we decided to shove him across to Sheff Wed and hopefully he stays there for the foreseeable future.
Butterfield was not the only one who favoured the sideways pass, but its telling that Huddersfield sold him and then promptly got promoted!
Yes! He was not the only one but he was the most consistent and outstanding candidate who kept constantly repeating sideway passes in every game he played in and affected our performance in performing to the best of our capabilities to get good results on the pitch.
We solved a major problem that needed drastically changing and we quickly ratified a good end result that came out of that move.
He doesnt like us and the feelings mutual simple as that.
Hes not as good as he thinks he is, hes just a pretty boy who can pass 3 feet sideways and backwards, looks good on the eye but doesnt score goals does it.
And whats more telling is the pretty pattern passing sides dont get promoted from this league,, boro, burnley, hull, norwich, brighton , huddersfield and watford just to name a few have all been solid hardworking teams that played a more direct style of football, only bournemouth you could really say was more possession based, but they actually got the ball in scoring areas, mr jacob.
Funny how no f***** was dumb enough to BUY him off us.
I see hes on the bench lol
Sheff weds creating chances... butterfield comes on in second half and the sheff weds fans wont need a barber next week as their hair will be trimmed down through pulling it out.
