Awful start - England 0-1 down after 3 mins.

Mistake by Rashford, but Hart could have rushed out and smothered that - instead he remained rooted to the spot.

In all honesty and with my hand on my heart, he would not get anywhere near our starting X1!

Good goal from Dier, but this is hardly the 'exciting' stuff Southgate promised. It's: square pass, square pass, square pass, loft aimless ball into the box. Or pass it straight to the opposition, as Henderson just did.

A wins a win, but Scotland didn't do well only winning 2-0.

Big problem with England for me is not a lack of talent, but a lack intelligence, they don't seem to have a brain cell between them. It really was astonishing the number of times they chose the wrong option, I don't think I've ever seen so many wrong ones taken in 90 minutes before. These are mostly decent players for their clubs, but you can see why they lost to Iceland, pulling on an England shirt seems to frazzle their brains.

And another problem is midfield where Dier plays with the speed of a striking slug, with Henderson not much quicker.

I wish we had Rashford at the Turf!

He would look great in Claret & Blue!
