Hope this isn't going to descend into a ' the youth of today are a disgrace ' etc as this could and would have happened 10, 20 , 30 years ago and more. Hundreds of people of all ages walk by these murals every day and don't feel the need to vandalise them. A shame that this senseless act happened but only a small minority of people would do it.

Slightly late in looking to cover them up. As I said earlier, moving them into the Arena would be the best option.

Not the case JR, - its just that their arses would have been kicked and they would have been encouraged to compensate for their actions.

Its crazy, nowadays an adult can get sued for looking at someone in a funny way, - but under 16's can get away with murder!

The amazing murals by the artist from Southerness were put up in good faith but regret to say they were an invitation to vandalism. Queens are looking into ways in which the murals can be better protected. All is not lost as the Queen's photographer has images in archive and perhaps they will be made available to the public. Queens Mad also some images in archive.
