Charlton see out a good home 2 - 1 win against Southend as the Add1cks win four games in a row and five from six games and go 2nd in the league.

Charlton's goals were scored by Magennis on 65 and Holmes on 68 minutes. White pulled one back for Southend to set up a nervy last 10 minutes which the team saw out purposefully.

Congratulations are also in order to Sloane Stephens this weekend for unexpectedly winning the US tennis Open.
