Chris Higgins See Red in Kirkcaldy

I noticed that Chris Higgins got sent off after two bookings in 79 and 88 minutes vs. Raith yesterday in Fife, in the Honest Men's 2-1 defeat.

This was just one day after signing a contract to keep him at Somerset Park until the May 2019.

    The headline should've said....Sees Red.....

Considering Dowie has also seen red this season Naysmith has to be congratulated on showing both players the door during the close season !

I agree. They were continually picking up yellow and red cards.

Totally agree Admin, - they were a real problem at Palmerston and were actually a liability.

Naysmith , credit to him , identified that we were weak in this area and got rid of the problem . Dowie and Higgins were very good servants but were both done two years ago at this level.

I've just watched the Raith v Ayr game. Higgins first booking was lucky not to be a straight red and in the second incident the Raith player clearly dived.
