    O Ye of Little Faith

    Well well well!
All the doom and gloom in previous posts.
You should know by now, Derby always start slowly and a good display would eventually. And that would mean a thumping for some unfortunate team.
Of course thrashing Hull wasn't expected but victory was always on the cards.
The question now is consistency and winning home games.
The future is bright but do stop moaning when the occasional defeat and bad run starts. The latter is inevitable in a long season. But the idea is to stop the rot and come out of it quickly.

Tonight showed why we are inconsistent we either very poor in one game, then good in the next and then poor in the other and brilliant in the next one. Hopefully tonight showed that when it matters Derby can put on a fantastic performance when the going get's tough and we can keep this performance going on a more consistent basis because you need that if you are to get out of the EFL and into the PL.

Its a football fans perogative to moan, what else how else would we scour the frustrations of life away?

Youve just described inconsistency, but not explained how the game showed why we were inconsistent.

IMO, having seen both games, we were 6 1/2 out of ten against a good sheff team and got no breaks, 8 out of 10 against a semi-shambolic Hull team and got all the breaks. That's not inconsistent, that's just the ebb and flow of a season. BOTH numbers need to move up a point, so the defeats turn to draws and the draws to victories.

We did not have many shots never mind chances against Shef Utd, who are a good well organised team, we had many shots and chances against Hull and as you say took 5 of them, but if you dont create chances one cant score!
