Wild Guesses for Line Up and Score Versus Barnsley Please?

    Anyone?

Ever the optimist, 3-1 Derby and then plan a trip to Wemberley

Line-up, no idea, will GR play the stiffs or have things got serious now?

It seems clear that Rowett will give some players game time - so Mitchell is a good bet, Forsyth if he is fit, Shackell and maybe Pearce, and we seem to be talking Thorne and Bird a youngster for midfield.

Up front well I guess Martin and possibly Winnall?

If Barnsley arent bothered then we could win 2-0.

Believe Winnall is 'cup-tied' WR. Otherwise I agree, with maybe a role for Anya out wide.

Conversation with a Sheff W fan I endured the SW/Forest match with on Saturday, when Buttercup made his entrance:

    Me: Is Winnall any good?
SW Fan: Yes. Is Butterfield any good?
    Me: No

Cue SW Fan looking quizzically into his beer glass

    Positively Pinteresque.

We're on a literary roll this am, elsewhere Macstheman paraphrases Animal Farm, also subconsciuosly running the mod gauntlet by insinuating Rattea to be a pig.

Expect a weakened side with a couple of youngsters, Mitchell in goal. Shame about Winnal being cup tied. Probably Martin starting up front.

I'm gonna be positive, reckon we'll win 2-1, after being arrogant at 1-0 and realising at 1-1 we actually need to work hard.

I'm in building bridges mode so I'll stick with the pig bit. Meanwhile in other news, my years worshipping at the altar of Dr Samantha Waters has given me the skills to be sure that some of our recent recent defectors (?defecators? will that get me a ban?) haven't defected as much as they claimed. Maybe raectivating the Brexit thread would flush them out, but I couldn't do that, this is a football forum!

Never heard of her, but computer says...something about a 'Profiler'.
I'd love to build bridges...to carry Rog, Swale, mista, Rob, Stenson etc home and have a return to normality.
MadAmster and WhiteRam are fine additions but it would be even better if they all returned...or are you suggesting...no...surely not!
Anyway, shouldn't worry about pigs, Napoleons or 'defecators'...if someone can call a former chairman...who isn't Robert Maxwell or one of the 'Three Amigos'...a 'crook' then it would appear anything goes.

Line up pretty much what people expected. A 16yr old alongside chrystal legs looks a little on the light side but let's hope GT comes through unscathed and the youngster enjoys his moment. We don't need ET tonight.

We snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, I see Rowett has changed nothing then at Derby!

I get we want to give players game time, i get we need to rotate i dont get wholesale changes to a team and giving up on a cup run which will give fans something different and a nice night out at Wembley. We are not bloody Chelsea competing in europe as well as cups, I for one will be right pissed off if we treat the FA Cup with the same contempt - surely getting a winning habit is worth it?
