Wish it was Spike. A wee win will sort that memory out.

Great to have a home game today as its been awhile and after it again another long wait for the next one so hopefully we make the most of it and get the 3 points.

As it happens the crowd was decent(in that it was the biggest of the season)Game itself was dismal from a qos point of view.Lots of the ball early on but no cutting edge.Poor first goal conceeded then an absolute stotter of a second for Morton.Suntan bringing a wee bit of hope straight after, but, that was that basically.Second half...lots of the ball and doing nowt with it.Not the worst game/performance of the season, but this suggests we will struggle to get a play off spot against what was really just average opposition.
Mortons' 2nd goal aside they were nothing special.

Just as I suspected , young Quitongo ripped us a new one in the first half . Thought we deserved a point but we just couldn't get that second goal . Hats off to the fans who turned out in bigger numbers and created a decent atmosphere for a change .
We now face 2 hard sway league games at Paisley & Inverness . Desperately need to take something from these to keep the fans interested

Quitongo was the difference between the teams today with his blistering pace as Morton disruptive style upset the Queens rhythm today with the ball spending far too much time airborne. We were very exposed in the right back slot and Morton fully exploited this for both goals in the first half. We were probably worthy of a share of the points but we lacked bite up front and created very few clear cut opportunities throughout. McFadden looked too anxious and was off the pace when he came on but cannot be judged on one part time appearance alone. A word about the referee who gave one of the worst performances I have seen at Palmerston and no wonder Dobbie completely lost the rag with the official for which I was surprised he was not booked by the clown in black.
