    Thanks for this. I have always liked Gilmour. The first time I saw him play was my very first concert in I think 1968. Pink Floyd had recently released their second album A Saucerful Of Secrets. Fantastic. All of them were accomplished musicians but he was outstanding.
    I only wish I had seen them when Syd was still with them.

    I was wondering if Syd played with them when you saw them or had his brain been frazzled by then? The only concert I ever saw at that venue was when I got paid by my dad to take my sister to see Sparks. They were supported by Pilot. Rock and Bloody Roll.
