I am part of a little community group trying to raise a few hundred quid to install a blue plaque in the village to mark the fact that Arthur Wharton lived and worked in the village. I'm sure most of you know who he was and understand why we are incredibly proud he spent part of his nomadic life in this little mining village.

Anyway, the club have been incredibly kind and donated two Category B tickets to a home match to us to raffle off. We are charging £10 to enter the raffle, with the chance that you and a mate (a fiver each) or a family member can have a day at the match. £10 seems a lot I'm sure but if you do split the cost with a mate to enter then realistically what does a fiver get you these days? It will just cover the cost of the programme for the derby this weekend.

Please share and give if you can afford it, all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much.
