Barnsley takeover moves closer with change in shares

Barnsley split the club's one £1 share into 1,000 0.01pence shares. Possible new owners taking stake in club?

So basically this means Patrick Cryne owned the 1 share & 100% of club. By splitting into 1,000 shares he could sell 499 to investors & keep control or obviously sell as much as he wants and keep a small share

It just prepares everything ready for the club to be split into multiple ownership. If you're selling something I suppose your motives are always financial

    Just a technical accounting procedure.

If tha Googles AGC Nice tha'll find the ownership is split between 80% various names in Mister Lee's Investment Group and 20% the previous owner. Will ev the same here.

One thing tha can be sure of--Mister Lee's accountants/ legal team will ev made sure thuz only one winner in this.

Rev Preedy al be turning in his grave praying "Lord help them for they do not know what they do"

Al change it to Mister Lee's accounting and legal teams will ev made sure thuz only one big winner in this and his 20% sidekick can benefit financially as well while Mister Lee is still here. When Mister Lee make much money and go then cheap, cheap shares available.
