If a shareholder agreement is signed it can . Certain decisions can be written in to an agreement that it has to be unanimous decision.

Billie Beane interviewed by The Guardian in 2014 on how his " moneyball " system could work in football and his interest in our game , good read .

What is Moneyball, and could we/England win it if there was a World Cup for it ?.

Following an all night negotiating session in smoke-filled rooms with beer and sandwiches ACAS has released a statement that there is an outline agreement between Animal and SB on the way forward for BFC In broad outline

1 The new investors will not make sudden large scale changes and will allow the club to grow steadily by financing the retention of the better players and gradually improved contracts generally.

2 The new investors will continue the policy of buying players to develop and retain the Academy rather than going down the John Terry/ Harry Rednapp route.

3 The present manager will be retained (as long as he remains effective) and there will no interference/overruling the manager in the buying/ selection of players from directors using systems used in other sports.

4 Oakwell will be retained to play BFC fixtures.

ACAS hope this will provide the broad basis for agreement.

Apart from avoiding the sudden destruction of teams which have been slowly built.

    Change is not good.
