Saw that and apparently offered 180M,didn't Lai cough up nearer the 200M to buy the club? Rather Lai kept us than be sold off to a yank, they haven't good track records in owning British clubs

A bit strange though that it got to the discussion stage. Lai must be preparing to sell or how would the Yanks know we are open to offers?
Agree 53, the Yanks have a poor track regarding club ownership, and their knowledge of the game is almost as poor as your average Wolves fan's.

The Chinese government are trying to restrict the amount of money being invested outside the country by wealthy private individuals I believe.

There is also greater scrutiny on any business investing outside China which is making people like Lai nervous.

I'd rather have "Trev the shed" owning the club than a Yank.
