Think that puts us joint top if I'm correct.

Very early days but things are looking good.

Gives the neighbours something to talk about also

FT 1-2....that puts us on 17 points with Leeds (who were beaten 1-0 at Millwall, thankyou Millwall) and
Cardiff (who were held to a draw by Wednesday). It's starting to look very congested at the top end of the table, but we've just got to keep plugging away. Well done you Wolves !!!

Newcy' although we each have 17 points, Leeds are top on GD, and we share second spot with Cardiff., then Sheff.Utd, Sheff.Wed,
Preston and Ipswich all have 15 points, followed by M'boro with 14...it's getting a bit crowded, mate . Now on that happy note I shall bid you all a very good night.

It is quite congested at the top. What is nice - and I know preseason predictions are carved in jello - is that nobody would have expected Preston, Cardiff, Sheffield United, or Ipswich to be up that high, even early in the season. I imagine that over the course of the season, most of those clubs would fall back to the middle of the pack. Ipswich and Cardiff could stick around because their managers have been here many times before. But Wolves have a head start on most of the other contenders and that could be big as the season goes on.
