    Lewis Cook

Keep tuning in to Bournemouth games to see Cook play and I'm always amazed to see Surman, Arter, Gosling or basically anyone else Howe can find to play instead of him, I've seen a few Bournemouth fans amazed he doesn't get a game as well.

I'm aware he did brilliantly at the World Cup, captaining them to the trophy, but thats youth football, it isn't week by week competitive league football. I loved Cook, best player we've had in donkeys years and was expecting his move to Bournemouth to be a good one where he'd get plenty of game time, not a regular maybe but he'd be a key part of the squad.

In short, do you think Cook has suffered from his move and would have been better staying with us for guaranteed (and probably the captaincy) first team football to continue his development?

At the time I would say it was the right move for him, because Leeds were just floundering around in the championship without any apparent ambition or momentum. We looked doomed to continue as a mid table club for the foreseeable future.

With the benefit of hindsight ( which is great ain't it), he would have been better staying with Leeds for all the reasons you mentioned, plus I think Monk and TC would truly have helped him develop further.

Yes at the time I thought the move was good for him, sad to see him leave us but i thought he'd get quite a bit of game time at Bournemouth, just hasn't transpired in that way and he still hasn't got a look in this year, hope he gets his chance soon.

Thought he'd be better under Eddie Howe and that he'd develop him better than we could, strange outcome really.
