Thread: Albion v Wham teamnews/matchthread

Dire, not one shot on target so far, nothing changes

Shocking effort by Albion, if you can call it an effort, against a bottom three side at home. We are a side purely set up not to lose, rather than have a go to win. Utter rubbish and devoid of any entertainment whatsoever. Wow.

The problem isnt team selection. This was a much better positive team selection today there just seems to be a general malaise about the lads. The only plus is getting one point after playing this lack lustre.

We have become so obsessed with defending, that we seem to have forgotten how to attack.

One shot on target tells you everything, poor poor game and only one team as usual trying to win the game, new signings and still the same sh1+

I genuinely think that Pulis sets the team up to absorb pressure and try to nick a goal from the very odd counter or a set piece. It really is a rudimentary style that is hard to stomach, even despite our apparent mid-table status.

We wont be mid table for long if we keep playing like that.

Agree CB. We are fortunate that the PL is weaker than it has been for years and that gives our position a false standing. On top of that, we have had a very easy month + of opening fixtures and much tougher times just ahead, starting at the Emirates next week.

Still six international matches to play so the cricket season is hardly "over".

What is just about "over" is my patience level with Pulis!

You can defend well as a side yet still offer a threat at the other end but this eleven men behind the ball all the time and every single one of our own players back in our box defending opposition corners and free kicks is utter f u c k I n g nonsense.
