Thought we were unlucky not to get a point had a lot more of the ball than them. Thought their fans were very relieved at final whistle. Ref gave Moore no protection as usual just cos hes a big lad dunt mean he dunt get fouled. Best players were Wood, Iekwe, towell, Potter. Thought we were a bit suspect on right hand side first half with Vaulks and Williams against their masked lad. Mattock was always gonna get sent off with that challenge which was pointless at that styage of the game anyway. If we keep playing like that we will do ok though this season. So lets not panic..they will be up there as well so no need for any knee jerk reactions at the moment.

We played better in second half , not a game for Williams imo, certain games aren't for certain players and this is what Warney needs to think about.
We need a RB at RB, Vaulks can't keep covering there , let's hope one of them is fit for next game

The quality in this league is way below what we were watching last year. We still need one,maybe two, centre halves. There is no future in the woefully slow agricultural Wood and the other centre backs are ordinary. With a proper quick striker we could have got something today. Heard a story that David Hirst(son's agent) has been banned from Hillsborough and that Wednesday are not allowing George to play at any level. Can't we get in and do a loan deal ?

Agree with this, Vaulks tried his best but and you can't fault his effort but I thought he looked like a midfielder playing out of position today.

It's not Vaulks. Williams is a luxury player on the Right. Vaulks or any full back can't cover the Right on his own.

You've not seen the game so how do you know? Vaulks' positioning is all over the place for a full back, he's got no discipline to hold a defensive line, he's doing a decent job of filling in but he isn't a full back. I didn't say he had a bad game, he made a good fist of it. Cummings will be back in as soon as he's fit I'm sure, and rightly so.
