    Cardiff 0 Derby 0

Another draw on the bounce and another point taken and much better in possession with 55% of the ball won and better defending and seeing out the game.

A hard place to take points Cardiff and we managed to receive 1 point not a bad end result against the current Championship leaders.

De Ja Vu 3 draws on the bounce is Paul Clement still in charge?

Cant grumble with a point away at Cardiff,, good side and warnock will have them pushing for promotion

Rowett still has a lot to do before he gets us into the top 6,, will get it right eventually and should be afforded the time.

Not so sure..the recent signings of Huddleston Nugent and ledley have left us looking slow and lethargic as Rowett talked of a slick counter attacking team early seasonCant see it ..Good possession but only 2 shots on target today..

I agree, can't quite equate Huddleston, Ledley and Nugent with quick penetrating counter attacks!! 'Miss Daisy' would be quicker!!

Well fast counter attack aint going to happen with Martin up top for a kick off is it, so we can scrap that off the bat.

If its fast he wants he needs anya and vydra in the team for a start,,, johnson, martin and russell cant be in the side if thats the style he wants, esp martin, who moves like a cow more than a gazelle.

Vydra is the puzzeling one, 5 goals in 8, looks dangerous and yet is the first one out the team every time.

Russell shouldnt be anywhere near the team but gets in anyway at the expense of better players like vydra and anya.

Rowett needs the time,, but comments like that dont help, says one thing and then plays a completely different style.

Anyone who thinks vydra, anya and lawerence couldnt work,, go back and check out the dissalowed 2nd goal at home v leeds from season,, that was a counter goal to be proud off.. despite the offside.

Rowett needs to start implementing that style, pace and foodazy,, not tanks and cows

What about that goal where Ledley tracked back robbing The opposition of the ball before releasing Huddleston to dribble 30 yards slipping past two challenges before releasing martin who outpaces two defenders before going round the keeper and slotting into the net...... oh if only

Playing football with pace has more to do with football skill and nous rather than pacey players per se. We have plenty of players with pace but they frequently slow the game down because of poor choices.

You're right there Oct ..Rosetta said Russell made good runs inside but you need midfield to find the pass to release forwards through. Like you said vydra lawrence and Nugent can break a defence if the run is timed but who is going to make the decisive pass .Huddleston plays too deep and doesn't seem on his game.
