Didn't Pope push it onto the bar?

This photo seems to show he did save it.

I’ll upgrade that to “it’s a game we MUST win”. Both clubs have started well, possibly overachieving up to now. However, realistically speaking, come May these are 3 points we may cherish.

I'm sorry, however, there are simply no 'must win' or 'mustn't lose' games when you have only played 5 games in a season.
Take me to around 30 games played and fighting for points and I will agree, however, Saturday is just another early season fixture between two teams who have started better than expected and the result is not that important in the grand scale of things.

That’s EXACTLY the point I’m making….get the 3 points now so we may not be looking for survival points late in the season.

We will be looking for points from every game, however, should we get three points on Saturday it will not ensure survival, therefore, it is not a 'must win' game.
You could say that every game is a 'must win' game because every point is important for survival, however, should we lose or draw on Saturday it does not mean that we will be going down.

It didn't go in so it's all rather academic. Judging by this photo, Popeye saved it!
